Brackley 1st XV take a trip up to Leicester on Saturday as they face Birstall whilst a Vets XV host Kettering Vets.
After a sluggish performance which led to 13-all draw with Biggleswade last week, Brackley know they will need to improve massively as they travel to Birstall who sit second in the league just four points ahead of the visitors. This will be the first time the two sides have met for three years as Birstall came back down into the league this season
The hosts have started the season off very well having won five of their first six game and are currently second in the league. Birstall will be refreshed after a week off last week and having won their previous game 24-17 away to Biggleswade a fortnight ago. When the two sides last met in the 2015-16 season, it was Birstall who came out on top winning both games.
Whilst the 1st XV have this difficult trip up to Leicester, a Brackley Vets XV will welcome Kettering Vets to Nightingale Close. With many of the players having enjoyed the Presidents Lunch last week, they will be keen to show how it should be done on Saturday, kick off for both games is at 14:15.
