Brackley kick off 2019 with an away trip to take on Wellingborough O.G's in the first league game of the calendar year.
Having had a difficult run to end 2018, Brackley are 4th in the league and will be looking to keep the pressure on their promotion rivals, with 2nd to 5th separated by just 8 points at the halfway stage of the season. In their last league match Brackley dispatched Stamford in a shortened, injury plagued game, winning comfortably 39-3 and will be hoping for a return to the winning form they showed at the start of the season.
Wellingborough have had a difficult season so far, struggling to find any consistent form as they currently sit 8th in the league, however they have proven to be a tough nut to crack, especially at home. Brackley will be well aware of how difficult the hosts will be, in the game at the start of the season, Brackley's fitness proved to be decisive as a strong last 20 minutes saw them come away 23-7 winners.
With a strong squad selected, Brackley will be hoping to start 2019 with a bang and stay in the hunt for a promotion place, in what will no doubt be a tough match. Kick off is at 2:15pm for any supporters wanting to come cheer the lads on in Wellingborough.
