Brackley take a bus up to Lincolnshire tomorrow as they take on Stamford College Old Boys in a game that has already been awarded to Brackley.

After a disappointing performance in their 26-14 loss to Sileby last week, Brackley were looking to bounce back with a good showing but unfortunately Stamford could only raise 14 players giving Brackley an away walkover win. However in the spirit of rugby, the game will still be going ahead as Brackley have agreed to bring all players who were available and lend Stamford a couple of players for a friendly.

Stamford haven’t had the season they would have hoped for this year as they sit in 8th and their inconsistent results show you can never be too careful when playing them. The month of March highlights this as they lost badly to second from bottom Thorney before beating Wellingborough, almost getting the win against Aylestone St. James and then failing to raise a side against Bedford Swifts last week.

With this being the last away game of the season, Brackley will be taking the bus up to Stamford and supporters are welcome to join, we will be meeting at the club at 11:45am. It is sure to be a great day out as we approach the end of the season.
