Brackley face a crunch match on Saturday as they take on fellow promotion chasers Northampton Mens Own away from home in what will be one of the biggest games of the season.
After their incredible performance against Northampton BBOB a fortnight ago when they won 27-10, Brackley will be well buoyed and up for this week's match against Mens Own. Brackley currently sit fourth place in the league just five points off second place Sileby and only two behind this week's hosts but showed in the game two weeks ago that they can beat anyone in this league.
Mens Own started the season with some inconsistent performances but have been on fine form recently, having not lost a game in the league since November. This run of wins began when they came to Nightingale Close at the start of December and after what was tight see-saw battle for the whole 80 minutes, they scraped through 17-13. In their last game, Mens Own made a real statement as they put Bedford Swifts to the sword winning 52-7 in Bedford.
This is truly a massive game for both sides as they continue to chase promotion in what has been a neck and neck race all season. If the last game between the two teams is anything to go by it will be a real nail biter, so Brackley will need a big travelling support to cheer the lads on.
