Brackley are back in action this weekend as they begin what will be a massive month for the team starting with an away trip against Kempston.

February turned out to be a month of cancelled matches and weeks off for Brackley, meaning they spent more time on Saturday's watching the Six Nations than playing any rugby. March is going to be a huge month for the squad as they continue to hunt for promotion but will take on all of the top three in the next few weeks and with only 5 points separating second to fourth, every game is a must win. Brackley kicked off what will be a busy few weeks on Tuesday night when they fought valiantly against a Northampton Old Scouts side three leagues above them, coming on the losing side of the Lewis Shield match 44-10.

With the league so tight Brackley can't afford to have any slip ups, so will be coming into Saturday's game against Kempston fully focused on getting the win and having a similar performance to the return fixture back in November when they won 81-0. The hosts have had a difficult first season back in the East Midlands league and have so far failed to record a win but the constant theme in all of their matches has been their spirit and never say die attitude all the way to the final whistle. In their last game they took on local rivals Bedford Swifts, who continued their good form winning 59-0.

With only six games left this season, March will be the make or break month for Brackley's promotion hopes and that starts with Kempston tomorrow. Brackley have picked a strong squad for the game and it will no doubt be an entertaining match. Now we're in March kick off will be slightly later at 3pm.
