Brackley play their first game of the New Year against Stamford College Old Boys on Saturday at Nightingale Close.
With their last match against Kempston having been postponed, Brackley have had a two week break over the festive period allowing some sore bodies to recover. The hosts will be hoping this New Year will bring some much needed improved form, having failed to win in their last three games, which leaves them sitting in a disappointing sixth place in the league.
After a strong start to the season, which included a dramatic late try to win the game in the reverse fixture against Brackley, Stamford have struggled to keep up their early pace as they sit 10 points ahead of Brackley in fifth. They themselves struggled in the run up to Christmas losing their last two games in the league to Biggleswade and Bedford Swifts.
With the last game between these two sides going to the wire, this is sure to be an exciting match up as both teams look to start 2020 with a much needed win. Kick off for the match is at 14:15 and the bar will be open, so come down and cheer the lads on.
