It's Presidents Lunch Day at Nightingale Close on Saturday, with Brackley hosting Biggleswade the entertainment for the afternoon.
Brackley are on a run of four straight wins after a gutsy display to beat Bedford Swifts 12-7 away from home last week. This win moved Brackley up to third in the league as they look to challenge for promotion, despite having a stuttering start to the season. The team did suffer a few injuries last week, so the strength of the squad will be tested as several changes have been made.
Biggleswade are a new team in the league after suffering relegation last season and it's been a long time since the two sides have met. The visitors currently sit in seventh place having won two of their five games so far. Biggleswade come into the game on the back of two defeats, including a close 24-17 loss at home to league leaders Birstall last week.
It's also President Lunch Day on Saturday, so the club will be packed with cheering supporters acting as the 16th man for Brackley. Kick off is at 14:15 and thankfully the weather forecast looks much better than the terrible conditions we have had in the last two weeks.
