Brackley play their final game of 2019 on Saturday as they travel to Bedford to take on Kempston.

The visitors will be looking to put the heartbreaking loss at home to Deepings last week behind them and put in a much improved performance to end the year on a high. After two defeats in a row, Brackley sit in sixth and will be hoping to regather some much needed momentum going into 2020. Brackley comfortably got the better of the hosts both times last season winning 62-12 at Kempston and 81-0 at home.

However this year Brackley can expect a much tougher test as Kempston have been showing some better form as of late. After only recording two points all of last season, they have already got seven points this year including a 25-12 win against Thorney last month. The hosts have also ran strong teams such as Bedford Swifts and Biggleswade close in their last few games.

After such a disappointing loss last week and against an opposition that on form will be more than dangerous, Brackley know they will need to come out all guns blazing on Saturday afternoon to end the year on a positive note. Kick off is at 14:15 and following the game, the squad will be coming back to the club to celebrate Christmas, so bring your best Christmas jumper and cheer the team on during the day and enjoy the festivities in the evening.
