Both Brackley senior sides are in action this weekend as the 1st XV travel to Thorney, whilst the Development team host Stockwood Park.
Brackley 1st XV will be looking to continue where they left off last week as they put in one of their best performances of the season, beating Stamford College Old Boys 31-12 at home, narrowing the gap in the league between the two teams. The last time Brackley saw Thorney was back in October, when they ran out comfortable 47-0 winners.
Thorney have had a tough season as they currently sit bottom of the league with only one win to their name. Things weren't made much better last week when they were on the end of a heavy defeat away to league leaders Birstall, losing 91-5. However they aren't a side to take lightly, especially at home, with only one score separating the sides the last three times this fixture has been played.
The Development Team will welcome Stockwood Park 2nd XV to Nightingale Close on Saturday afternoon. This is a return fixture from a December clash where a strong second half saw Stockwood come away with a 21-7 victory at home. Brackley have named an impressive team for Saturday and will no doubt be looking for revenge on the visitors.
Both games will be kicking off at 14:15 and the bar will be open for the Development Team game. Let's hope both Brackley teams bring home the victory!
